Computer Supported Collaborative Work in Virtual Environments
Just remembered. I worked on Computer Supported Collaborative Work in Virtual Environment 25 years ago. Designed and built a Display Metafor Scipting Language (a domain specific little language) with David Morris and implemented it with PCCTS, better known as ANTLR later, using data from LDAP and pumping HTML and Virtual Reality Markup Language to the Web.
Silicon Graphics machines were a thing then. Data stored in a distributed directory, LDAP. Tweeted
Morris D T, Lajos G, Dew P M, Drew R S and Willows D: ‘DiMe: An object oriented scripting language for the automatic creation of virtual environments’, in Proceedings of Eurographics, UK Chapter Conference (April 1997).
